Steel Matches

October 5th & 6th – Registered Shoot. Can you believe its already October. The season is almost gone, and there’s one or two of you that have had the best of intentions on getting our to see us this year. NOW IS THE TIME. Please find the program by clicking here.

October 12th  – Steel Challenge – Dude (or  Dudett) !!!!! These matches ar awsome. They are great fun;  Inexperensive to shoot; and tailorable for all ages! Grab that (magazine fed) 22 rifle or pistol , your son,/daughter, wife/husband, girlfriend/boyfriend…… and a 500rd box of ammo (for both of you) and come give this a try. They will be thrilled with the surprie day with you… doing something they would never have imagined. This really is a great time. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for the first child and the second is free (Two per adult only). Click on this link to see what this great saturday morning activituy is all about.  Start time is 10:00 (be there by 9:30) and you’ll generally be done by 1:00ish. 

October  28th – Monthly IDPA Match. – How many times have you read this announcement and considered coming out to meet us? These IDPA matches are pure fun, and great training and/or practice for CCW! ……and we love new people! Plan on shooting about 100rds of ammo while navigating fivju777e (5) different scenario courses of fire. If you have never ever shot an IDPA match anywhere, your first one here is free of charge! For everyone else the price is $15.  Members of Brittany or IDPA receive a $5 discount. You can learn the “in & outs” about this game by clicking on each of these progressive videos. Ilinois CCW Class. –.(Our 16 hour classes will resume in July of 2024) This is the required 16hr class necessary to be apply for your CCW permit in Illinois. Our classes are taught in a relaxed, fun, family friendly atmosphere, and run Friday evening and a ‘long’ all day Saturday. Also, we do limit class sizes to eight (8) seats, so please contact us for questions and registration. 618-593-6967 (call or text)

(****Please note that due to the Scheduled ATA Shoot, and facility availability, we will be conducting this 3\hr class under ternt at the berms.****) 

OCTOBER 5TH – SAS Cowboy Action – This is just one of so many family friendly weekend activities available to everyone here at BSP. You do not need to be a member to participate in any of the weekend event (IDPA, Steel Challeng or Cowboy Action) matches. COme out and check this event out. Shooter wear period specif atire and use perios specific firearms. …and all have alias’s they go by.  Grab your kids and come watch “Mascoota Marc” square off with “Mad dog McGee” during this great event.  (lol… please know that at no time does anyone actually square off with anyone else. Illinois Hunter Safety Class – Many have asked about the  Hunter Safey Program at Brittany Shooting Park.  Sadly, we lost our long time “point man ” Gary Rull this past fall. He will be sorely missed. However, we have no intention on letting this program fad away. We have recently been in touch with the appropriate folks within IDNR, and will be scheduling a spring class.
