BSP will be hosting an NRA Basic Pistol Class for on Friday evening (April 12th) and Sunday afternoon (April 14th). This is a private class for the Madison County “9/12” group, and therefore in not listed on the NRA site. There are a few seats available for those wishing to attend. Monthly IDPA Match. (STARTING IN MARCH/APRIL 2025) – We are in a transitional stage for our IDPA matches. Weather conditions as well as staff availability are the primary concerns. Please be patient with us as we work toward getting back on pace wit this program in 2025. How many times have you read this announcement and considered coming out to meet us? These IDPA matches are pure fun, and great training and/or practice for CCW! ……and we love new people! Plan on shooting about 100rds of ammo while navigating five (5) different scenario courses of fire. If you have never ever shot an IDPA match anywhere, your first one here is free of charge! For everyone else the price is $15. Members of Brittany or IDPA receive a $5 discount. You can learn the “in & outs” about this game by clicking on each of these progressive videos. Ilinois CCW Class. (please check back for date) –.(Our 16 hour classes will resume in July of 2024) This is the required 16hr class necessary to be apply for your CCW permit in Illinois. Our classes are taught in a relaxed, fun, family friendly atmosphere, and run Friday evening and a ‘long’ all day Saturday. Also, we do limit class sizes to eight (8) seats, so please contact us for questions and registration. 618-593-6967 (call or text)
Illinois Hunter Safety Class – Many have asked about the Hunter Safey Program at Brittany Shooting Park. Sadly, we lost our long time “point man ” Gary Rull this past fall. He will be sorely missed. However, we have no intention on letting this program fad away. We have recently been in touch with the appropriate folks within IDNR, and will be scheduling a spring class.
