“Illinois Defensive Pistol” is the name of the state approved curriculum that satisfies the final 8 hours of the Illinois CCW requirement. We generally teach this class in two 4 hour sessions. The first will be on either Saturday or Tuesday starting at 5:00PM, and then again on Sunday or Thursday starting at 1:00PM (Sunday) or 5:00PM (Thursday). Classes must be attended in either the Saturday/Sunday schedule or the Tuesday/Thursday schedule. We cannot mix class dates.
The cost of the class is $100. However, members of BSP will receive a $20 discount on all training with us. Participants are welcome to enjoy this discount by joining the day of the class.
Each person in attendance will be required to bring a serviceable firearm, a strong side hip holster, and 100 rounds of ammunition. We do not anticipate requiring more than 50-75 rounds but recommend 100 should they be required. If you do not have this equipment, we can supply it for an additional $25. It is our preference, however, to see everyone shoot and qualify with their own firearm.

If you have not previously completed NRA Basic Pistol, please contact us to discuss previous training that may possibly be applied to the 16 requirement.
