| Dave Birk assumes the responsibility of organizing BrittanyTraining; and oversees the operations of the rifle and pistol facitlity at BSP. He has been active in the competitive shooting community for about 12 years; where he is most active within the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA). He has been the IDPA match directore at BSP since the dicipline was introduced here; and has been a certified safety officer within the organization since 2006. |
| Dave most often competes at the” Master” level in the Stock Service Pistol division. His firearm of choice is a Glock; and he competes shooting a Glock #34. He has held state titles over the past severl years in Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Currently he is sponsored by Leon Uniform Supply, a uniform and equipment supplier to law enforcement agencies in a 200 mile radius to the St. Louis metropolitian area; and a retailer of CCW and tactical appearal and equipment to the general public in the St. Louis area, as well as online distribution nationwide. |
| In his non-shooting life, Dave is active on two different fire departments (one volunteer and one professional); is very active in his local church; and is active with Discrete Church Ministries (a ministry through his church that assists churches wishing to develop a security ministry) |
