Cephas Armstrong brings a special dynamic to Brittany Training. He spent the first 4.5 years (of his ten years) serving in the US Army Artic Light Infantry unit. then proceeded to service five years in Army Special Operations. He attended the the JFK Spevial Warfare Center where he received his credential as an Special Operations Instructor. Once he completed his service with the Army,, Cephas was hired by contract by Blackwater Inc., and served as a civilian contractor in Iraq. He has been actively involved in competitive shooting for over 10 years, is a certified IDPA Safety Officer, and NRA Range Safety Officer and has distinguished himself in competitions over the last several years. |
Cephas most often competes at the” Expert” level in the Stock Service Pistol division. His firearm of choice is a Glock; and he competes shooting a Glock #34. However, it is not at all uncommon for him to show up at a match shooting something else, just to be different. |
In his non-shooting life, Cephas is active on many different Levels. He is currently taking a full time load of classes at one of our local colleges, and he is actively involved in several business ventures while continuing his education. One thing about Cephas that is very evident upon spending just a few moments with him is that he absolutely believes in continuous training, in all areas of life. He has taken far to many classes with respect to firearms training and combat to list here. Like we said, Cephas brings a special dynamic to Brittany Training. |
