Merry Christmas!!!

We would like to wish all of our members and guests a very ernest Merry Christmas. We hope you all have the greatest Christmas yet, and pray you cherrish this time of year with your family and friends!! The BSP family looks forwad to seeing all of you (…and some new folks) in January as we kick of 2025! Please not that the BSP offices will be closed December 24th – 26th; and December 31st – January 2nd as we focus our attention to our families for the holidays.

Monthly IDPA Match. – How many times have you read this announcement and considered coming out to meet us? These IDPA matches are pure fun, and great training and/or practice for CCW! ……and we love new people! Plan on shooting about 100rds of ammo while navigating five (5) different scenario courses of fire. If you have never ever shot an IDPA match anywhere, your first one here is free of charge! For everyone else the price is $15. Members of Brittany or IDPA receive a $5 discount. You can learn the “in & outs” about this game by clicking on each of these progressive videos. IDPA Part I, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6. A registration link will be here about 1 week ahead of the match. *Note* Don’t let a video scare you. Generally those appearing in a video do not represent what you will see at our match. No payment is required until you arrive the morning of the match. Registration available here 7 days –

Ilinois CCW Class. –.(Our 16 hour classes will resume in July of 2024) This is the required 16hr class necessary to be apply for your CCW permit in Illinois. Our classes are taught in a relaxed, fun, family friendly atmosphere, and run Friday evening and a ‘long’ all day Saturday. Also, we do limit class sizes to eight (8) seats, so please contact us for questions and registration. 618-593-6967 (call or text)

Illinois Hunter Safety Class – Many have asked about the Hunter Safey Program at Brittany Shooting Park. Sadly, we lost our long time “point man ” Gary Rull this past fall. He will be sorely missed. However, we have no intention on letting this program fad away. We have recently been in touch with the appropriate folks within IDNR, and will be scheduling a spring class. Please keep checking back for details.
